Three highlights feature today on stage three of Route 1291: from Andermatt, the route heads up and over the Furka and Grimsel passes then down to Meiringen, passing the Aare gorge. 
Enjoy the third stage of Route 1291: you’ll be negotiating two world-famous passes today plus other highlights along the way. From Andermatt, you pedal through the pristine Urseren valley and through Realp before reaching the Furka pass. This is followed by the Grimsel pass and a long descent to Meiringen at alt. 595 metres. Before you get there, you pass the Aare gorge, which is well worth a detour.
